How
many people can the vessel carry?
Scooby Doo Too is licensed for 12 passengers and 2
crew but unless cost is a major factor we recommend
that 10 is a realistic maximum, 8 is comfortable and 6
is luxurious. If yours is a party of beginners
we would suggest no more than 8 on board. This
makes your trip more expensive but does allow us the
time needed to give each of you personal attention.
Can I
hire the boat for a corporate day?
Yes, most certainly. If you would like an
unusual day out for your clients or a reward for
your staff, let us help you. Just contact us
with your ideas for angling, sight seeing, bird
watching, photography, etc.
I
require accommodation
We have a list of suitable Guest Houses and
contact numbers. Most of which are within
walking distance of the marina. We have no
direct involvement with guest houses other than to
direct parties to them. Each will have their own
terms and conditions for booking.
Do
you take individual bookings?
Yes. From Easter through to September we
usually try to offer at least one trip per week on an
individual basis, of course this is subject to demand.
Do
you supply tackle and bait?
Yes, we can supply tackle and bait for all on
board. Each of our hire rods has a multiplier
reel and end tackle, plus suitable lead. We do
not hire out uptiders. We usually supply
mackerel and squid bait as standard. By
arrangement we can supply other baits such as lugworm,
rag worm, sand eel and crab.
If
I bring my own tackle, what will I need?
This depends on what type of fishing we are doing
on the day. Seek the Skippers advice beforehand
but for everyone's comfort limit your tackle to a days requirement.
